Miss Universe 2019 is South Africa—find out her winning answer

The Miss Universe 2019 is none other than South Africa’s Zozibini Tunzi! She won against Puerto Rico, first runner-up, and Mexico, second runner-up.

Zozibini is a 26-year-old public relations graduate.

This was her winning answer to the question, “What is the most important thing we should teach young girls today?”

“Leadership. It’s something that has been lacking in young girls and women for a very long time. Not because we don’t want to, but because of how society has labeled us to be. I think we are the most powerful beings in the world and that we should be given every opportunity. We should be teaching these young girls to take up space. Nothing is more important than taking up space in the society,” said Zozibini.

Congratulations, Miss South Africa! You deserve the win!
