When someone says fuzzy shoes, you might think of bedroom slippers with cute bunny ears on them. But last year saw the rise in fluffy sandals, which Pop Sugar spotted being worn by fashion week attendees. Man Repeller called the sandals the it-shoe for autumn.
Recently, this type of shoe returned to everyone’s radars when Ugg came out with slippers. You remember Ugg? That shoe brand known for its comfy (and sometimes considered tacky by judgmental people) boots. The Ugg slippers and slides are made with shearling fur and come in various designs, which Elle writer Justine Carreon described as cozy and can keep your toes warm.
Charli XCX and Cardi B seem to be fans of the fuzzy slippers as well.
These shoes still remind us of bedroom slippers and it might not be the best idea to wear them here in the Philippines, especially during the rainy season. They’re cute though. Fuzzy shoes are trending again so we looked for pairs that are equally comfy and stylish, and won’t make you look like you’re getting ready for bed.
Ugg Ansley Water Resistant Slipper
This Ugg pair is different from the popular sandal-type slipper. The soft fur lining is inside the shoe and the exterior is made from water-resistant suede. You can wear this with jeans while doing groceries or even while chilling at home.

Crystal Rabbit Ear Furry Slippers
This is the grown-up version of your childhood bunny slippers. These slippers have white faux fur and embellished bunny ears on top, plus soft plush material. You can also get a pair in brown and black. Available on Zilingo.
Dolls Kill Sly Not Shy Buckle Sandals
If you ever wanted Birkenstock sandals with soft faux fur insoles, get this pair from Dolls Kill. These have adjustable buckles on the straps to make sure your feet are comfortable while walking. Miu Miu Shearling Espadrille Platform Slides
These espadrilles are giving us “Legally Blonde” vibes because of their baby pink faux fur straps. They’re also platformed if you’re looking for something with a little more height. Available on Net-a-Porter.
