Italian designer Alessandra Facchinetti is known for her work with luxury brands like Gucci, Valentino, and Moncler. However, during Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week, she revealed the next move in the fashion world. Facchinetti will be the first creative director of local brand Harlan + Holden.

Founded by Emmanuel Pineda in 2015, the brand now has 20 retail shop across the Philippines, South Korea, and Indonesia with its headquarters in Seoul. Asked why she took the gig, Facchinetti said, “I wanted a new challenge, the opportunity to design from a completely different perspective and felt I had something to say again.”

This will be her return to the fashion industry after leaving Tod’s and 2016. “This project isn’t so much about my artistic dreams, but it is about generating value in design in a different kind of way. Our brand ethos is rooted in saving people time so they can do the things that matter,” shared Facchinetti.

The collection she is working on is set to release in June. According to “The New York Times,” it has three categories that cover day-to-day, travel, and weekend
