If you’re reading this, it’s not too late. You’ve most likely reached the end of the saltmines and are now much like a phoenix rising from the ashes and into the first, oh-so-glorious stretch of the holiday. What better way to celebrate than to put on some weekend music? We put together a playlist with some artists–old and new–who hail all the way from Europe. The continent is beautiful this time of the year especially compared to our monsoon-laden days ahead. And to give that exclusive feel to the playlist, most of the artists are those who are not known across the Atlantic but are big in their respective countries. So even if you’re scorching in the heat of the metro, you can still feel like you’re under the Tuscan sun.
Starting off with ambient, hazy beats courtesy of Norwegian producer Kygo, to the sugar-coated vocal chops of Belgian singer-songwriter Alice On The Roof, and crossing over to Sweden via dance-pop queen Robyn, plus more in between–it’s a sure auditory chill pill.
