We’re only three months into 2020 but we’re already being treated with multiple launches from local beauty brands. We saw existing brands come out with new products that customers are already loving, as well as new brands popping on our social media feeds.
If these launches are any indication of 2020’s beauty landscape, then we’re excited to see what’s next for other brands. But for now, here are the recent launches we’re loving:
Sunnies Face
Just last week, Sunnies Face launched their first nail polish line called Play Paint. It’s a vegan and cruelty-free product that comes in 15 playful shades ideal for the summer season. Available at Glorietta 2.
Happy Skin
#TeamPreenPH’s current favorite lip product is Happy Skin’s Lip Mallow, a plush matte lip mousse. Formulated with cranberry seed oil, it’s lightweight and has a cushion-soft powdery finish that’s moisturizing. It also has marshmallow extract with anti-inflammatory properties to relieve irritation on the lips. Available at Greenbelt 5.
Moonë Beauty
Moonë Beauty is a newly launched local brand that offers liquid highlighters that you can use on your cheekbones (Glow Bomb) and body (Glowgasm). The shades range from champagne to bronze to cater to fair and dark skin tones. Available at Frankie and Friends Pop Up, Power Plant Mall until Mar. 31.
Mink
Mink is an intimate care brand started by an all-female team. They have products like butt scrubs and boob masks. Available online.
BYS Cosmetics x Regine Velasquez
In case you didn’t know, singer Regine Velasquez also does makeup. Her love for beauty led her to become a BYS Cosmetics ambassador and this year, a collaborator for the 22-piece Reigne Collection that launched last Feb. 29. Velasquez’s collab collection includes lipsticks, eyeshadow palettes and face powders. Available at select Watsons stores.
Bobbie Cosmetics
Known for its nailcare products, Bobbie recently released their first cosmetic line ranging from color correcting concealer palettes to lipsticks. Available at Robinsons Department Store.
Blk Cosmetics
Blk made our multi-use dreams come true with Face Stack. These small pans can be used as blush, lip tint or eyeshadow that you can stack on top of each other so you can bring them everywhere. These are perfect for traveling as they don’t take up much space and are easy to apply wherever you are. Available online.
Lustrous
Nadine Lustre’s beauty brand recently launched a new collection featuring an eight-pan nude eyeshadow palette, translucent loose powder, two blush duos and more. Like the previous collection, these products mostly cater to morenas. Available on Beauty Beat.
