Here’s all you need to know about the free shuttle service

After announcing the free shuttle service that will be provided by her office, Vice Pres. Leni Robredo posted its routes and schedules. This initiative of providing health workers with transportation starts today, Mar. 18.

Among the hospitals to be serviced are RITM, QMMC, East Ave. Medical Center, UST Hospital and Lung Center of the Philippines. According to the post by VP Robredo, the shuttle service will start at 6 a.m. and will reach the end point by 11:30 a.m. Details of the afternoon run will be announced later  in the day.

At the end of her post, VP Robredo also clarified that the free shuttle service is for hospital workers only (which will be verified through their ID). Since they’re handling people who are usually exposed to COVID-19 patients, VP Robredo’s team is also practicing safety precautions by having temperature checks at every stop, requiring passengers to sanitize their hands and practicing social distancing.

As this is a pilot run, VP Robredo also sees it as a means for her to see how they can improve the service and cater to more health workers. For those who want to get updates, you can monitor VP Robredo’s Facebook page
