Category is Social Distancing: Makeup gurus bring their A-game on IG

I’m guessing many of us haven’t been putting the same kind of effort into dressing up and putting on makeup ever since the enhanced community quarantine started. I don’t know about you, but a few dabs of lipstick and a swipe of brow gel is all I need for my next Google Hangouts meeting. For some, however, they’ve decided to keep refining their makeup skills during the quarantine period. There are some who even took it upon themselves to post a new look every single day (talk about dedication). Here are some local makeup gurus that might inspire your next look (during or after quarantine):

Gabs Gibbs

One of Gabs’ most memorable looks is this beautiful butterfly look with shimmer and detailed wings (she probably used a fine brush or some colored eyeliner for this). You could tell that she paid a lot of attention to detail. This particular look has inspired most of her followers to give it a try as well.

Sylvina Lopez

I think it’s safe to say that Sylvina has made it a routine to create a different look everyday. This particular look has me shookt as it brings the pastel dream to life, seamlessly blending blue, green, yellow and purple with a matching blue liner to make her eyes pop. This is something I’ll definitely try once I get my hands on some pastel shadows. Time to be the unicorn I always wanted to be.

Dorothy Mamalio

You might be thinking that Dorothy’s look almost has the same vibe as Sylvina’s. Despite both of them making use of pastel colors, I personally felt like Dorothy’s was more retro pop-looking. It made me think of Dua Lipa’s “Let’s Get Physical Workout” video.

Jake Galvez

Ever since I’ve gotten soft bangs, I’ve been thinking about how I could achieve a “soft doe” type of look. Jake Galvez has recently been posting different faux freckles tutorials on his IG TV. It’s got to be one of my favorites since it looks so natural and subtle it won’t overpower any makeup you put on it.
