A lot of folks are getting into arts and crafts these days—to pass the time and to have an additional source of income during the quarantine. A couple of my friends have started learning how to crochet. Me and a buddy of mine were talking about investing in a sewing machine. While this renewed interest in dealing with literal threads isn’t exactly new, it seems that people are approaching it with more vigor. And why not? It’s a smart and enduring skill.
Like any other skill, there’s a bit of a learning curve. For rookies, it might be best to start with crochet then leveling up to knitting and sewing once you get the hang of it.
