Heiress Bea Borromeo Weds in Pink Valentino Wedding Gown

But don’t worry, she’ll probably wear white for the religious ceremony this weekend.

Journalist, TV host, and Italian aristocrat Beatrice Borromeo married Monaco royalty and Grace Kelly’s grandson Pierre Casiraghi in an intimate civil ceremony at the Prince’s Palace in Monaco in front of 70 guests. The two have been together for six years since they first met at the University Luigi Bocconi in Milan.

She wore a pale pink custom Valentino cape dress, which was adapted from a look in their spring 2015 collection. Designed by Valentino creative directors Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli, the floor-length gown featured ’70s bell sleeves and gold lace chiffon.

The reception after the ceremony, according to People, was a riot. 700 people were invited to a garden party at the Palace’s newly refurbished private salons, which are rarely opened to guests outside of the royal family. Organized by Prince Albert, the theme was cavagnëtu, the Monégasque equivalent of a picnic where finger foods will be served.

This Saturday, it’ll be the Borromeo clan’s turn to throw a more lavish ceremony in Lake Maggiore, on one of the islands owned by the Borromeo family, reports WWD. According to Pop Sugar, “The Borromeo family still owns the majority of the Borromean Islands on Lake Maggiore in Italy, which they have owned since the 17th century.”

We can’t wait to see what Beatrice will be wearing to that.
