Two more ‘Twilight’ books? Stephenie Meyer, you spoil us

I know most of y’all Twihards are probably still trying to get your hands on “Midnight Sun” after its release on Aug. 4, but the story doesn’t end there. Stephenie Meyer just revealed that she’s working on two more books in the “Twilight” series in a recent Books-A-Million live event.

According to Buzzfeed, Meyer said that there are still two more books on the “Twilight” world that she wants to write. “I have got them outlined and a chapter written, I think, of the first one, so I know it’s there,” she said.

But hold your horses, it’s not going to be released any time soon. “I am not ready to do that right now, I want to do something brand new. For me, a lot of the joy of writing comes from creating, and I really want to do a new world and new rules and new mythology. Mythology is kind of my thing,” she added.

And while we’re all a bit disappointed that it would take a while, let’s not forget that we already waited 12 years before we got the complete version of “Midnight Sun.” I’m sure whatever Meyer is cooking up is worth it, seeing as she never disappoints. (Except for when she killed off Bree Tanner, which I’m still touchy about.) Hopefully she also addresses fans’ concern that imprinting might be grooming in disguise.
