When all you seek is closure from a failed relationship, another app opens. Here comes Shryne, the app that won’t ever, ever let you move on.
For those who just can’t pass up the good memories of a past relationship, Shryne lets you archive all of your past conversations with your exes (all of them!) whether through text messages, Facebook exchanges, and even e-mails. So if you’re one to dwell or investigate where the relationship failed along the way, the online log of every exchange might help you trace just that. It digitally summarizes everything into one long feed that you can just keep scrolling while finishing that pint of ice cream or sniffing your way to your fourth tissue box.
Quite the hit in the face when you just lost a relationship, the Add Relationship feature in the app lets you add more people (or more exes) into it, which somehow make it serve as your little black book. One more feature is being able to freeze a specific archive for up to a year in the hope that it will “help the emotional healing process” until you are ready to relive them all over again.
Aren’t we opening up supposedly healing wounds here, Shryne?
Clearly, Shryne is living up to its name of being a shrine to either honor a once happy relationship or bury old memories into the makeshift grave that is your phone.
