Lounge like a reality TV star with these Instagram shops

Lounging has become an art form in itself. The ability to tastefully not give a damn is a skill that many hope to hone in an age of microcelebrities and troublesome social media algorithms. But perhaps the best thing about the popularity of lounge photos is how we now revel in looking good and feeling comfortable. Tiis ganda? No, thank you.

Feel like you don’t have enough loungewear in your wardrobe to build an effortlessly cute personal brand? Here’s a list of Instagram shops where you can cop the loungewear of your dreams.

Lounge Manila

Based in the metro, Lounge Manila offers affordable loungewear and intimates that are perfect for thirst traps (What? We’re all thinking it). Chic and understatedly sexy, its pieces are mostly made of stretchable ribbed fabric in flattering cuts. Whether you’re going for laid back or daring, you can easily find something fit for you among its sweats and bralettes.

Some of our favorites include the Cora lounge set, which consists of a ribbed crop top and biker shorts that come in tan or black, as well as the Ava one-sided strap top and Brie sweatpants combo.

From: Dru

From: Dru is owner Shannon Drew’s sustainable passion project. It has a selection of lounge sets, knitted tops and ruffled bottoms that will have you looking pretty and delicate in your sleep or just lounging about. The shop is also known for its eco-friendly yet dainty packaging that makes its pieces perfect for gifting.

One of its standouts is the Sly set which consists of a seersucker cotton buttoned top and shorts. It’s a staple combo that you can also pair with its Vee knitted crop top or bralette for added spice.

Future Retro

Want to go old school with your loungewear? Future Retro is a thrift shop filled with fun ’80s and ’90s vintage finds that you can wear while staying in or even going on errands. From patterned tops to printed scarves, it has vibrant pieces for those who want to step away from the usual nudes and pastels.

For a shop that opened just five months ago, it already boasts of an exciting collection of loose buttoned tops, cropped cardigans and scarves which you can style into halters. Our personal picks include a sheer tie-front polo and an ivory crocheted top

Private Storey

If you’re looking for pieces that spell glam, Private Storey has a number of sleepwear and loungewear sets made with satin and charmeuse. You can also cop essentials such as headbands, scrunchies, sleep masks and even teacup candles to complete your nighttime ritual. It’s a one-stop shop for self-proclaimed sleeping beauties.

Apart from that, it has a loungewear capsule that offers a sweats combo with tops that come with and without hoods. We’re also eyeing a rayon sleeveless nightgown, a floral ruffled combo and a pajama set with one’s name embroidered on the front pocket. Designed and made locally, founder Anna Limbo tells us that she hopes to grow Private Storey so they can hire and develop the skills of more sewers who create its proudly Filipino products.

Blue Palm

Blue Palm is known for swimwear but the brand dropped a loungewear collection that is just as fun and flirty as its usuals. It’s almost like it’s telling us that you can live your best life even if you’re far from the beach (a reminder that a lot of us badly need). With goodies like yoga-ready cotton sets and cropped sweats, it’s a shop for the sweet and sporty.

Our favorite sets include the Cuddle Buddy cropped tee and drawstring shirts combo and Lazy Daisy with its sleeveless button top and shorts. They go well with two different moods but both have just the right amount of playful details that can catch any eye.
