Brush up on your Sarah G moves for ‘Tala The Film Concert’

What’s the most powerful dance track performed by a Filipina vocalist? You’d be lying if Sarah Geronimo’s “Tala” isn’t at least part of your top three. The hit even inspired its own Tala Nation (the group of viral performers of the “Tala” dance craze which includes the volleyball players in the “Aling Nelia” video). The song’s impact cannot be ignored.

Whether you’re a Popster or not, Sarah G’s latest announcement is sure to excite you. On Feb. 17, Viva Entertainment revealed the official poster for “Tala The Film Concert,” a one-night-only online event to premiere on  March 27.

Witness Sarah Geronimo like you have never seen before. Tala the Film Concert, a one night only, exclusive online event…

The digital concert will be available for streaming on KTX and fans can start purchasing tickets on Feb. 19. Though we would have loved to groove with a crowd at a concert venue (When will this pandemic end?), it’s a bit comforting to know that we don’t have to worry about sold-out tickets.

Regular tickets are priced at P1,500 while VIP tickets cost P3,000. While we’re still waiting to get more details, KTX usually includes behind-the-scenes footage and either an extended version of their shows or a Zoom afterparty for VIP ticket holders. A chance to chat with Sarah G is too good to pass up.

The trailer for “Tala The Film Concert” also teases that we should get ready “to experience a new Sarah G.” Any guesses as to what that means? Place your bets.
