Okay, our hearts just recovered from last year’s wedding bomb, but we swear we could take the happy news that is Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Tasha McCauley’s first child.
The couple welcomed a baby boy this weekend, with his name still unknown to the press at this time. Sources say that “the family is all happy and healthy.”
No surprises with both these bits, though: The actor has intentionally kept mum about his personal life, leaving only a few life details up for speculation since 2013. It is no wonder that it took quite a while before people knew he was even dating someone.
And, well, it’s not like it’s really any of our serious business unless we’re the couple themselves. JGL did admit to Howard Stern that he’d rather stay silent for both him and Tasha’s sake: “I have a girlfriend, but I tend not to really talk about it in public.”
The couple has been successful in not leaking important private details. Or if ever news breaks out, it’ll take a few days after for the paparazzi and media platforms to pick it up. Cases in point: their intimate wedding, Tasha’s mid-month pregnancy, and the weekend birth of their son.
While those have gone unnoticed, fans made sure to make up for the silence by posting devastated tweets. This time, however, everyone’s just elated.
