Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie to Add 7th Kid to Their Brood

Already with six children, the Pitt residence isn’t a full house just yet. Brad Pitt and Angeline Jolie seek to add another member to their diverse family by adopting a Syrian orphan. The couple has three biological children (Shiloh, eight, and twins Knox and Vivienne, both six), and three adopted ones (Maddox, 13, from Cambodia; Pax, 11, from Vietnam; and Zahara, 10, from Ethiopia).

At the height of the Syrian refugee situation, Angelina, a United Nations Special Envoy for Refugee reportedly met up with three Syrian siblings who have lost their father as he was taken away by soldiers, while their mother was killed in a bombing incident.

No official statements from the couple have been released just yet. But arrangements are underway, and the two have been reported to clear out both their schedules to accommodate the processing of the adoption papers. So by the end of summer 2015, they plan to already cradle a Syrian kid in their home.

Being the kind-hearted maternal figure she is, the actress wanted to take all three with her, but Brad thought differently and wanted just one. A leap from six to nine kids, he believes, would be a drastic change and a major adjustment in terms of their family dynamics, especially for the kids.

In Syria alone, 3,700 children have fled the country in search of a safer refuge without their parents whom they lost in the war. Angelina, having gone six times to Syrian refugee camps already, isn’t taking any of this.

So anytime soon, the Pitt home is set to become a safe refuge to one of these Syrian children.
