If you knew somehow that there were potential punch lines and songs in the Fifty Shades books, you’re indeed right. 50 Shades! The Musical Parody is now coming to Manila.
The musical follows the story of a group of ladies who are part of a book club that has decided to read Fifty Shades of Grey. As they discuss the book among themselves and try to flesh out their own interpretation of the story, the song and dance numbers begin, and so does the comedy. The original score features songs such as “How Much Can I Take?,” “I Don’t Make Love,” and “There’s A Hole Inside of Me.”
The musical was first staged in 2014 in countries such as Germany, Holland, and France. It has also received various praises from CNN, The New York Times, and Variety.
