Mary-Kate Olsen Marries French Banker Fiancé in Hush-Hush Wedding

While everyone was out crazy shopping over the Black Friday sales or dealing with indigestion after all the turkey feasts, there was an intimate secret wedding happening in New York City—that of Mary-Kate Olsen and her new husband Olivier Sarkozy.

Little has been told about the night’s event. The couple, who have been dating for three years have always kept mum about the relationship. It’s no surprise then that the biggest moment of their lives has also been kept secret from the public eye. The ceremony, held at an undisclosed private residence in Manhattan, is reported to only have 50 guests. Rumor has it that they were even asked to surrender their phones before entering the premises—so that’s why the talks about it just came days after.

What was only known about the wedding was that it was filled with “bowls and bowls of cigarettes, and everyone smoked the whole night,” reported Page Six. What, not even a lead on the wedding cake? Or what about the bridal dress?

Ah, the wedding gown! Nothing was said of the famed bridal piece. So if you’ve always wondered what an Olsen gown would look like, it kills us to say today is not the day we’d know.

This is the 29-year-old Mary-Kate’s first marriage and French banker Olivier’s, 46, second marriage—his first being with French writer Charlotte Bernard. Olivier is also the French brother of former president of France Nicolas Sarkozy who is married to former model and singer-songwriter Carla Bruni.

Best wishes, guys! We’ll forever wonder how your big day looked like but one thing’s for sure, an Olsen wedding is surely a chic wedding.
