As Star Wars: The Force Awakens premieres in cinemas locally, the mounting hype surrounding it is real, and so is Jimmy Fallon’s knack for making things trend. This time, the seasoned late night show host joins his band The Roots and the new Star Wars cast as they sing a medley of the film’s theme songs a cappella.
Jimmy and his band start the video, with Daisy Ridley is the first to join in. Later, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, Gwendolyn Christie, Carrie Fisher, Lupita Nyong’O, and Harrison Ford pitch their own voices into the mix.
The Force Awakens is the seventh installment in the much-missed movie franchise. The film premiered last Dec. 14 in Los Angeles, and as it officially drops in the Philippines today for regular screening, Uniqlo releases its Star Wars UT Collection shirts as well.
