After a two-week getaway in Argentina last December where she was reportedly married to fianceé Nico Bolzico, model-actress Solenn Heussaff said it was merely an engagement party and not a wedding yet.
Inquirer.net reported that during a recent press conference for her upcoming movie Lakbay2Love, Solenn clarified that no vows were exchanged despite several photos that had circulated online, including ones from Isabelle Daza’s Snapchat, showing a civil weddingthat took place in Nico’s home country.
“No, it hasn’t happened yet. We didn’t go to a church…I didn’t have a wedding dress…We simply chose to celebrate in Argentina because I have not seen his parents in two years,” Solenn said. “I am still single, technically. I am still a Heussaff.”
The gathering was also attended by Erwan Heussaff with girlfriend Anne Curtis, and bestie Georgina Wilson.
But Solenn did wear a custom Boom Sason Wedding Classics gown for, as the designer wrote in her Instagram, “her lakeside civil union and reception in Argentina.” And besides, who wears a wedding gown to an engagement party?
As confusing as this affair may be, Solenn and Nico do plan to marry in France at a later date, and we’re excited to see a possibly new wedding dress for that day—maybe one that doesn’t look like a lacy tablecloth.
