Are You Ready for Another Instagram Update?

Just a few hours ago, Instagram gave a crucial announcement on their blog and it is way better than their plans to change algorithms that will present photos based on what’s most popular rather than what’s most recent. This time around, they announced a longer video feature: Your Instagram account can now house up to 60 seconds of video compared to the previous 15.

I mean, yes, we have learned to properly curate our feeds and be able to create material that fits the limitations, but can you imagine the amount of videos we’ll soon be seeing once this rolls out? Instagram said they wanted to provide a platform where people can express themselves in fun, flexible, and creative ways.

This new update will begin to roll out today and in the coming months everybody will be able to use ‘em.

What do you know, Instagram is the gift that keeps on giving.
