5 Moves to Get Your Heart Rate Up with Katz Salao

We have all made some sort of excuse to get out of a workout and this usually happens when you are just starting out in your fitness journey—we say we don’t have time, don’t have the space (my apartment is too small and the gym is packed), and so on. But we would like to encourage you to push past through the excuse so you can be your stronger self. And to further inspire you, we got Katz Salao to help us put together a warm-up routine that will get you sweating. And the best part is that you can do it anytime, anywhere. Yes, even in your bedroom!

First up, Katz may look familiar to you, that’s because she’s one ultimate slasher. She’s a radio DJ on Play FM, one of the teachers in Ride Revolution, an events host, a Nike gal, and recently the newest host of Gameplan. Phew! Now we don’t have an excuse to say we don’t have time, if Katz can sneak in a workout in between her busy sched, then we totally can, too.

She prepared a 15-minute warm-up that will definitely help you set up for your main routine, or if you really don’t have the time, you can just do this routine and you’re all good.

Five workouts is equal to one minute each to be done for three rounds. Each minute consists of you doing the workout for 40 seconds, and the last 20 seconds is for active rest, which means you can do high knees, jog in place, or even dance.

Let’s get started! Click on the slideshow and let’s get sweaty!
