It’s been an odd set of days for Kris. First, she’s seen riding the Presidential chopper for allegedly campaigning and gets flack for it. She publishes a listing of the amount of taxes she’s paid in the past few years, and still gets even more flack for it.
It’s even scarier now to be her, perhaps, as President Noynoy Aquino reveals that there have been plots to kidnap her sister along with senatorial candidate and boxing champion, Manny Pacquiao, by members of the Abu Sayaff.
“They allegedly even hatched plots to kidnap Manny Pacquiao or one of his children, as well as my sister Kris or one of her children, with the plan to use them in bargaining for the release of their cohorts,” said PNoy in a statement.
Yikes! Looks like the Queen of All Media is getting no love these days. Perhaps she could reconsider going back into retirement once more? (But did she ever really leave?)
