Not Invited to Rodrigo Duterte’s Inauguration? Facebook Has Your Back

Since president-elect Rodrigo Duterte said that he can’t accommodate everyone in his inauguration—including his vice-president Leni Robredo, his team is planning a Facebook livestream.

According to a statement, presidential spokesperson Ernesto Abella and incoming communications secretary Martin Andanar are discussing plans with Facebook to do a livestream on June 30.

“With the inauguration ceremony drawing near on June 30th, Facebook is reaching out to the communications team of the incoming president to offer its support in using its online platform for the historic occasion,” the statement read.

It adds that Facebook is on-board with the idea considering that Rodrigo was the most-talked about candidate on the site during the elections.

But what if Leni also does the same thing too? How are we supposed to watch both inaugurations at the same time? Either way, we hope our Internet connections cooperate on the 30th so we can watch while on the go.

If not, surely someone will upload it on YouTube.
