Unlimited Manila Pushes You to Beat Your Own Running Record

Are you a fan—and by fan, we mean beginners to professionals—of running? Then get your gear ready as Nike Philippines launches Unlimited Stadium today up until Aug. 21 in the heart of Manila’s running hub Bonifacio Global City.

The running track is shaped as a 100-foot sole print of their latest innovation, the Nike LunarEpic Low Flyknit. You may not be able to get an Instagram shot of the whole thing without a drone, but the view when you go up the ramp is enough to get your hearts racing. Not just that, the stadium features a physical and digital experience, as you register they will hook up RF IDs on your shoes that allow you to track your time, laps, etc.—but I guess the best part is that the walls are lined with LED screens so you can race and beat your very own avatar (along with other challenges). It’s like having a digital cheerleader and competitor in one that drives you to break your previous records. As if that is not exhilarating enough, Nike will give out rewards as you beat the challenges.

It is designed for you to push the limits and to realize that you can do so much more than you ever thought possible. Nike launched this in time for the Olympics in Rio. The next 17 days will show athletes to defy expectations and the stadium allows you to do just the same right here in Manila.

The stadium is open from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. until it closes on Aug. 21 so we suggest you log in their website to check out the schedules and challenges. I’ll definitely be back in the stadium, so see you there!
