As this year’s Rio Olympics comes to a close, there’s already a sneak peek for what we can expect for the Tokyo Olympics in 2020.
It’s too early to know the exact date it’ll be held and how much the tickets will cost (in case you have a flight planned out for 2020). However, the International Olympic Committee confirmed that there will be five new sports during the Tokyo games―baseball, climbing, karate, skateboarding, and surfing.
Aside from that, there will be 35 Olympic venues which include the Imperial Palace Garden, Tokyo Stadium, and the new Olympic Stadium.
Some of you may already be excited for this, but chill first, okay? It’s still four years away!
