Black Swan

This Oscar-nominated film starring Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis showed the dark side of the ballet world. If you haven’t seen it, better prepare yourself for disturbing scenes and pay attention to the mysteries surrounding the film’s protagonists.

Ancient Aliens

You might be thinking that this is a weird recommendation. However, you have to admit that the theories on this show is fascinating and will make you wonder if such beings does exist. Just don’t get too into it and start questioning everyone around you right after.

Sleeping Beauty

No, this isn’t the fairytale that you know and love. Sleeping Beauty tells of sex workers in a high-end brothel who are put to sleep so men can fondle them while they’re unconscious. It’s disturbing in a sense that, if given the power, any man is capable of such things once women are rendered powerless.

The Twilight Zone

Nothing says mind-boggling than with episodes of The Twilight Zone. This classic series has been remade several times as movies and more modern TV shows, so you know the impact of this cult classic. It also has a mix of both thrilling and, at times, confusing plot lines.

Black Mirror

Described as the British and more contemporary counterpart of The Twilight Zone, Black Mirror takes a dark and satirical spin on modern technologies; sometimes even set in a dystopian future. It’ll definitely open your eyes on how technology will advance and how it can turn against you, among other stories.

The Lovely Bones

This drama-crime film has a supernatural touch to it as you see the perspective of both the living and the dead. It’s also quite frustrating because the investigation feels like it takes forever, but it’s still a riveting watch.
