Karl Lagerfeld & Lily-Rose Depp Front ‘Vogue’ Paris

For the last issue of the year, Vogue Paris, presents a black and white cover with Karl Lagerfeld and Lily-Rose Depp.

An unlikely fashion couple, the two have helped place iconic brand Chanel maintain a luxe yet millennial appeal in today’s consciousness. Just look at how young Lily-Rose channels old-school glamour in the ad campaigns for the new Chanel N5 fragrance.

Karl, on the other hand, manages to make his own headlines, whether it’s through reinventing the Chanel runway from a brasserie to a data center, or through controversial comments on Kim Kardashian.

The cover is photographed by the equally magnetic personality that is Hedi Slimane, who has clearly taken to photography once again, after his departure as creative director of Saint Laurent. The issue comes with an in-depth interview with Karl wherein he reveals the beauty routine of his cat Choupette, along with the imagery he’s lensed for himself and for Chanel. It also comes with a profile of another Chanel muse Kirsten Stewart.

Karl, if you didn’t notice by now, also serves as guest editor for the issue, which hits stands on Dec. 5.
