The Miss Universe itinerary in the Philippines is getting hectic. Amid news of arrivals (did you see Miss Thailand’s baggages?!) and press conferences, the candidates also post what’s happening behind the scenes.
Before 2016 ended, we already saw a few of them touring Intramuros and trying out local delicacies. As the pageant grows near, we see more candidates enjoying the country.
Upon arriving, Miss USA Deshauna Barber posed in front of a photo of President Rodrigo Duterte.
The contestants also rode a Miss Universe bus to their hotel. As you can see, Miss South Africa Ntandoyenkosi Kunene was enjoying it.
Miss Bulgaria Violina Ancheva was welcomed with Filipino hospitality as she settled down in her hotel room at Conrad Manila.
Another perk of staying at the hotel is the view of the huge ferris wheel at Mall of Asia. Miss Thailand Chalita Suansane couldn’t help but pose with the view.
Miss Brazil Raissa Santana took selfies with students while visiting the National Museum. She also took a snap with local musicians at a restaurant.
Miss Bahamas Cherell Williamson also celebrated her birthday here and even got a yummy cake.
Miss New Zealand Tania Dawson took the opportunity to visit her family in Pangasinan. Who knew she had Filipino blood?

Miss Venezuela Mariam Habach Santucci even gave a gift to Miss Malaysia Kiran Jassal during one of their lunches.

Before pageant day on the 30th, the contestants will go to different locations like Baguio and Malacañang. And it’s good to see them having fun to beat the stress of the competition. Good luck, ladies!
