Only three days have passed since US Pres. Donald Trump was sworn into office and the controversies continue. Trump’s counselor Kellyanne Conway made headlines when she said the White House puts out “alternative facts.” Take note that she said this after a reporter asked her about the false information they’re relaying about Trump’s inauguration. This also shows the administration’s running war with the media.
Yikes. Is this going to be a normal thing for the next four years? We hope not.
Since we’re on the topic of “alternative facts,” we listed other things that the Trump administration claimed weren’t lies.
Alternative Fact #1: “You’re saying it’s a falsehood and Sean Spicer, our press secretary, gave alternative facts to that.” —Presidential Counselor Kellyanne Conway
Someone please tell Ms. Conway that sharing “alternative facts” are still falsehoods. And she shouldn’t cover up the fact that Press Secretary Sean Spicer was wrong when he said…
Alternative Fact #2: “This was the largest audience to ever witness an inauguration—period—both in person and around the globe.” —White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer
We’re sure you’ve seen enough aerial photos online to see the clear difference between Obama and Trump’s inauguration crowds. In fact, the Women’s March had more attendees than the inauguration itself. If not, here’s a photo:

Alternative Fact #3: “They sort of made it sound like I had a ‘feud’ with the intelligence community. It is exactly the opposite, and they understand that, too.” —Pres. Donald Trump on his feud with the CIA
Trump criticized the CIA after they released a report that Russia had intervened with the elections. He called it “ridiculous” and “just another excuse” for the Democrats to dislike him. He also tweeted that the Intelligence Agency leaked “fake news.”
And now, he blames the media for fabricating the feud. Hmmm.
Alternative Fact #4: “We will bring back our jobs. We will bring back our borders. We will bring back our wealth – and we will bring back our dreams!” —Pres. Donald Trump
Trump tweeted this on Inauguration Day. While this sounds promising, let’s not forget that he wanted to build a wall and deport all the immigrants in the US with hopes to “make America great again.” He may have also forgotten that most immigrants hold jobs in the six out of 13 industries in the US. Kellyanne Conway also confirmed this during an interview with Fox News.
If the Trump administration wants to bring back jobs and dreams, then start by not removing the hardworking immigrant workers.
Alternative Fact #5: “Wow, television ratings just out: 31 million people watched the Inauguration, 11 million more than the very good ratings from 4 years ago!” —Pres. Donald Trump
A day after his Inauguration, Trump claimed that he had more television views. In fact, the 30.6 million viewership he got was less than Obama’s 38 million in 2009 and Ronald Reagan’s 42 million in 1981. Maybe he was referring to a The Apprentice episode?
Alternative Fact #6: “A fantastic day and evening in Washington D.C. Thank you to @FoxNews and so many other news outlets for the GREAT reviews of the speech!”
By that, you mean because you quoted Bane from The Dark Knight Rises and Bee Movie?
