There are a couple of long weekends coming up this month and I’m sure many of you have planned out-of-town trips during those days. Some of you might be heading out of the country or a nearby beach for some relaxation. If you are heading to beach, this is a great time to take those sunset photos and get some color on your skin.
Aside from packing your basic necessities, we looked at what celebrities bring with them to make their vacation complete. In your beach bag, pack a portable speaker, sun hat, and these other items.
Portable Speakers
We’ve given you a list of Bluetooth speakers for your room but portable speakers are also an essential for your next trip. Whether you’re at the beach or lounging by the pool like Verniece Enciso, bring your music with you. Try to get one that’s waterproof too.
Shop: JBL Clip 2, Available at SM Megamall.
Sun Hat
Aside from wearing sunglasses, you can also opt to wear a hat to protect your eyes from the sun. A sun hat will also keep your hair in place when it gets windy on the beach. Kourtney Kardashian did exactly that, bringing with her a brown sun hat to Nantucket.
Shop: Maison Michel Green Straw Charles Hat, Available on Farfetch.
Cover-up
When you’re traveling from your accommodation to the beach or sitting on a boat, you can wear a cover-up over your swimsuit. Andrea Brillantes wore a white lace top with fringe detail as a cover-up when she was in Boracay.
Shop: Seafolly Crochet Trim Kaftan, Available on Zalora.
Beach Mat
Don’t forget to pack a beach mat with you. This will keep your things off the sand and save you a spot on the beach while you’re off swimming. Lissa Kahayon went for one with a colorful print, making it the ideal IG background.
Shop: Shapes and Curves Vivid Tribal Round Beach Mat, Available online.
Bottle of Wine
Kimi Juan decided to bring some white wine with her while on her trip to Anilao. Get your favorite bottle and share it with your friends or family while you lay on the beach.
Shop: El Enemigo Chardonnay 2012, Available online.
