US President Donald Trump to Visit Manila this November

The White House recently released a statement confirming that US President Donald Trump will be visiting Asia this November. The Philippines is part of the important stops he will be making. Better watch out for traffic schemes, protests, and what could possibly the most headache-inducing set of headlines as Trump meets President Duterte.

The two are chums since apparently Trump was alledgedly comfortable leaking the location of the submarines near North Korea to Duterte, apart from apparently congratulating him on the war on drugs.

Trump is timing his first Philippine visit at the same time the ASEAN summit will be held. These visits will serve to reinforce the ties between Asia and the United States. The White House further stated, “The president’s engagements will strengthen the international resolve to confront the North Korean threat and ensure the complete, verifiable, and irreversible denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.”

As much as Trump is still… well, very much who he is, there’s not much we can do but hope that he conducts himself in a diplomatic way. We also won’t be here for him dropping some merch. No one wants your dad caps, Donnie.
