Time to Book Your Tickets to Korea Because Filipinos Can Now Travel Visa-Free

Have you been dreaming or already planning a trip to Korea to make the following things happen: Hoard skincare, visit all the cute cafes and restaurants, or even be like Anne Curtis and visit all the K-drama locations? Well, it looks like you can enjoy visa-free entry to South Korea until April 2018.

But there’s a catch, Yonhap News Agency reported that you have to enter through the YangYang International Airport which is near Pyeongchang, the venue of the upcoming Winter Olympics happening on February 2018. This is to help boost tourism for the said games.

So far, there are no direct commercial flights from the Philippines to YangYang Airport, both Cebu Pacific and Philippine Airlines only offer direct flights to Busan and Incheon. Well, maybe you can visit neighboring provinces before hitting up Seoul or you can simply book a bus ride straight to the city of skincare.

Are you planning to visit soon? Time to pack your bags and book that ticket!
