Why Anne Curtis’ Wedding Shoe Could Start a New Trend

If there’s any of indication of how chill Anne Curtis and Erwan Heussaff’s wedding weekend was, it’s her (and some of her friends’) bridal boots.

During the welcome party, Anne wore white boots with her Vera Wang dress. For the wedding, she opted for black platform boots with her Monique Lhuillier gown. Bridesmaids also paired boots and colored socks with their Vania Romoff dresses. Talk about maximum comfort.

Often, brides opt to wear either sandals or wedges during an outdoor wedding. You’ll only ever see brides wearing cowboy boots at country weddings in the US. (i.e. singer Miranda Lambert) So Anne just might start a new trend for future brides-to-be here.

Would you cop platform boots for your wedding? Or will you just stick to wearing flats?
