Which 2018 Planner Suits Your Lifestyle the Best?

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, at least for certified stationery addicts like me. A whole new hoard of planners for the upcoming year is out and about to inspire (or confuse) all of us. With such a wide range, it’s difficult to choose just one, but the trick to it is all in finding a system that works best for your routine. Do you need a platform to explore your creative side or something minimalist and no-frills? Do you need ample note space or would you rather list all your events in a calendar?

Let’s make it easier for you to decide. We’ve got a roundup of 2018 planners for every personality.

For the fashionista: Sunnies Agenda

Doesn’t the cover remind you a lot of Cher Horowitz’s iconic plaid ensemble from Clueless? It’s got spacious weekly and monthly layouts, noted local holidays, and style guides so you can plan your days and OOTDs. Available at Sunnies Studios and Sunnies Specs branches.

For the minimalist: Monthly diary, MUJI

MUJI has a lineup of 2018 diaries from A6 to B5 sizes that suit your needs without the frou frou. Some diaries have full weekly spreads while others have a whole week on one page next to a blank grid for extra note-taking. Available at East Wing, EDSA Shangri-La Plaza.

For the jetsetter: Navi Journal, Belle de Jour

Fill up cool travel-themed pages like travel goals and packing lists. To mark off each month is a spread detailing a different natural reserve in countries like South Africa, Australia, and, of course, the Philippines. Available at National Book Store.

For the busy body: I Am Very Busy classic agenda, Ban.Do

Not only is this baby pretty in pink, it also has a fair embossed warning against anyone who attempts to approach you before your morning coffee—or meeting. It’s a stylish (and silent) personal assistant that’ll get you through the day in one piece. Available at Noteworthy.

For the optimistic go-getter: Scribble Planner, Filed

Filed’s Scribble Planner has a fun and feminine vibe to match the motivational quotes within. Not overly decorated either, this local pick has a sheet of stickers and artworks to keep you cheery and empowered all year. Available online.

For the fashion-forward spendthrift: Kate Spade New York Agenda

Perfect for the ladies always on the go who never scrimp on style, Kate Spade offers more than just bags. Their 17-month agenda comes in a variety of covers and opens up into a spiralbound planner with functional stickers that match its color scheme. Available at National Book Store.

For the lover of old luxury: Traveler’s Notebook 2018, Midori

This vertical diary encased in a genuine leather cover gets better with age. Chronicle your day-to-day activities and hoard your memories in this sleek and slim vertical weekly diary. You can even get your TN refills from notebooks to zipper pockets. Available at Scribe.

For the creative multitasker: Hobonichi Techo

This might just be the most premium planner on this list. Tomoe river paper is light, smooth, and bleed-proof—even after layers of watercolor. It has yearly, monthly, and daily spreads that you can use for journaling, painting, studying, and, of course, getting your life together. Available at Scribe.

For the anti-planner planner: Bullet Journal, Leuchtturm 1917

If none of these planners seem to catch your eye or meet your needs, make your own planner using Ryder Carroll’s bullet journal method. Don’t be intimidated by all the #bujo Instagrams. All you need is a pen and a good notebook to start. Available at Fully Booked.

We’ve got exciting news! Here at Preen.ph, we are feeling a little generous. We’re giving you a chance to win some of the planners listed above. Watch out for the complete details and mechanics coming at you real soon!
