A Celebrity-Approved Guide to London

Summer is here and many of you are probably heading out of the country for a few days or even weeks. To beat the heat, you might be considering a place with colder climate, like London? La Bodega Negra

Laureen Uy and Liz Uy are currently on a sister trip and they’re traveling London. For a girl’s night out, they met up with Dominique Cojuangco and they went to La Bodega Negra. It is a Mexican restaurant that serves a full dinner menu as well as tequila cocktails. Check out their menu and book a table for you and your friends. Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter

For the Harry Potter fans, make time to take the Warner Bros. studio tour. Liza Soberano took this tour and it looked like a blast. Here, you will the different sets from the movie like Diagon Alley as well as the props. You’ll also see the actors’ costumes and how the creatures were brought to life. Located at Studio Tour Drive, Leavesden WD25 7LR

Maltby Street Market

Anne Curtis finished the London Marathon yesterday but before that, she went around the capital. Joined by Erwan Heussaff, they passed by a few food spots like the Maltby Street Market. It is a weekend market that serves all types of food like gourmet chocolate brownies, craft coffee, Persian meals, and dumplings. You can also get what they ordered which was waffles topped with goat cheese, blueberries, and figs from Waffle On. Located at 37 Maltby Street, London SE1 3PA

London Eye

An obvious tourist spot would be the London Eye. I remember riding this in high school and I was amazed. Toni Gonzaga posted a photo in front of the ferris wheel last year. It is considered the world’s largest cantilevered observation wheel standing at 135 m. Each rotation takes 30 minutes and you spend this time in a 360-degree view pod. Carpo

While you’re enjoying London, don’t forget to bring something home for your friends and family. Little treats are always a good idea because who doesn’t want to receive food as gifts? For these, you can visit Carpo like Gretchen Barretto. She seeme to really love this place because she visited the shop in June last year when visiting Dominique and again in August during her graduation. Here, you can bring home different kinds of chocolate, dried fruits, and jams. Located at 16 Piccadilly, W1J 0DE, London

The Apollo Victoria Theatre

Have you always wanted to see Wicked on stage? Well, you still can at The Apollo Victoria Theatre. Maxene Magalona did just that when she visited London last year.Tickets are on sale until May 2019 and can have two different time slots, depending on the date. Located at 17 Wilton Road, London SW1V 1LG
