Ylona Garcia is one underrated singer. You may have seen her perform on TV a few times and thought, “Oh, she’s good.” But you might change your mind after watching her belt out “I’ve Got Nothing” by Whitney Houston with AJ Rafael and American Idol runner-up Jessica Sanchez.
The video, titled “Classic Karaoke Songs Medley,” was posted on AJ’s channel last June 5. But as of writing, the video is eighth on the trending page and has over 309,000 views.
Ylona sang “I’ve Got Nothing” after AJ and Jessica’s duet of “Endless Love.” She also sang “At Last” by Etta James in which she nailed the bluesy vibe of the song. But the best part would probably be her duet with Jessica that shows just how powerful her voice is.
The comments section also noted how much Ylona has improved. Some even said that she can be a powerhouse performer in the future and that “she’s going places.”
