Hey, Dad: These women’s conversations with their dads will make you laugh and cry

Father’s Day is the one Sunday out of the year where we celebrate our dads. We post throwback photos on social media with long captions thanking them for everything they’ve done. You might even get together with your family for a Father’s Day meal. But, have you ever looked back at your relationship with your dad and thought about all your best moments together? Do you wonder what his favorite is? Throughout your life, I’m sure you’ve turned to your dad for help with school work. As you got older, perhaps you didn’t want to tell him about your first boyfriend. Going into college, he was one of your best supporters, always pushing you to do your best. Now that you’re working, maybe you see him only on the weekends. You don’t talk that much anymore because you’re preoccupied with other things. But, when you decide to give him a call, he still answers and he’s happy to hear from his daughter.

This is exactly what we decided to do for this year’s Father’s Day video. We had four women call their dads to ask them what their favorite memory was of them. The dads stumbled at first and struggled to think of just one but they pulled through. We recorded the conversations and saw the different ways these women interacted with their dads. And it was so sweet.

First up was Aryanna Epperson who got a little emotional when her dad gave his answer.

It took a few tries before Tricia Centenera’s dad picked up but I promise you their conversation will make you laugh.

Bea Fabregas’ conversation with her dad will make you look back at all the times your own dad was there to cheer you on.

Ria Atayde also gave her dad a call and he talked about a memory that was really embarrassing for her. Find out what it is.

Now that you know what their dads’ favorite memories are, let us know what your best moment with your dad is in the comments section below. Oh, and don’t forget to greet him a happy Father’s Day!
