In our list of IG-worthy flower fields, we mentioned one spot located in Taiwan. But you might be asking yourself, “Where else should I go?” Look no further because actress and vlogger Alex Gonzaga has given us some ideas.
She was vacationing in the country for a few days with her close friends. You could see on her Instagram account that she’s been posting OOTDs and other shots from various spots and landmarks.
Before you jet off to Taiwan, you should add the spots Alex visited to your itinerary. Feel free to also share your own finds to help others out!
National Palace Museum
Here, you’ll find a permanent collection of nearly 700,000 artifacts and artworks from ancient China. So be sure to wear comfortable shoes just like Alex when you’re looking at all the exhibits.
Ximending Night Market
Known as the “Harajuku of Taipei,” you’ll find an assortment of food and shopping centers here. You can also find bars and clubs where you can grab drinks until late in the evening.
Neihu District
Neihu District has several tourist attractions. There’s Dahu Park, which is known for its picturesque footbridge, and Bihu Park where you can find cherry blossoms during spring. You can also visit a Taoist temple on the mountainside where you get a great view of Taipei. But if you want to do something adventurous, you can go up the hiking trail at the northern part of Neihu.
S Hotel
This is where Alex and her friends stayed. According to her post, S Hotel is owned by Barbie Hsu, the actress who played San Cai in Meteor Garden. I wonder if she used some memorabilia from those days to decorate the place.
Regent Taipei
You can also stay at the Regent Taipei. It’s known for its upscale lodging. There are also eight restaurants that you can dine in even when you’re not checked in. Keep that in mind if you’re looking for a swanky date place.
