Remember that college student who was accused of beating his ex-girlfriends but only got community service? Well, here’s good news for you: The University of Santo Tomas reportedly excluded him.
The Varsitarian, UST’s official student publication, reported that the suspect was found guilty once again of violating the Code of Conduct and Discipline after a third victim came forward. Similar to the first two women, she filed a complaint of physical abuse against the male student.
A photo obtained by TomasinoWeb shows a statement from the College of Science that the student is officially “excluded” from UST’s list of students. He is also barred from enrolling in any undergraduate and graduate courses in the university, and no Certificate of Good Moral Character will given to him.
In an earlier report, one of the victims, Diane Arcena told the The Varsitarian that the suspect was only given “250 hours of community service as a condition for the release of his graduation credentials, and then barred from attending the solemn investiture or graduation rites of the College of Science.” This was after he was found guilty of violating the Student Code of Conduct and Discipline.
