Every morning, I would go on YouTube and get my daily dose of Philip De Franco’s news coverage. But earlier today, I couldn’t access the platform for some weird reason—maybe my Internet connection was slow? Nope, social media told me that YouTube was actually down. Damn.
According to The Verge, “YouTube is experiencing a major outage” across all its platforms like YouTube Music and YouTube TV. After being down for an hour or two, it looks like videos can be played normally again. But the reactions to the outage are still golden, and we’re here to show you the various stages of freaking-out from users.
The withdrawal was real
So was desperation
Side note: Were people really calling 911?!
Every other video platform: “This is our chance!”
And then there’s Disney advertising their new movie
Their marketing team deserves a promotion.
YouTubers already rethinking their careers
Wishful thinking that all the bad will be gone
When it was finally back and everyone breathed a sigh of relief
And someone’s already writing a short memoir on how they survived
