Ikea PH is the Ikea store to beat all Ikea stores

Ever since we found out that Ikea is opening in the Philippines, we’ve already pictured what we’re going to buy once it opens. Well we don’t have to wonder no longer because we got more information on how big the store’s gonna be, when it’ll open, and why you should check out the official PH website.

As we found out before, Ikea store will be located in SM Mall of Asia, right smack in between SMX Convention Center and MOA Arena, because of its accessibility. It’s said to be the biggest branch in the world at 65,000 sqm, which is the size of 150 basketball courts. We also heard there will be 55 showrooms inside where you can get design inspiration, so you know where you’ll find us once it opens because we’re taking several notes.

There will be 9,000 products readily available and you can take them home immediately. Ikea PH promises that they’ll be affordable and have the best price around so more people can be able to shop.

If you want to have an idea of what you can buy in-store, you can check out Ikea.ph (which launched today), especially their online catalogue where you can check out the estimate prices. But if you want to shop online, Ikea PH will soon have their own e-commerce and call center to serve customers better. No need to leave the house to get your favorite item. Whew!

Aside from shopping, there will be areas to sit, a 1,000-seater restaurant (OMG. Swedish meatballs, please!), and for kids to play. The latter is for the parents who have easily impatient little ones that don’t like walking around a lot. Unless, of course, they have more fun exploring the huge store’s aisles.

The Ikea store and e-commerce site will open in 2020 but we’re already browsing their wares for our homes.

That’s all for now. We’re sure to keep everyone posted as more details come through. Who’s excited to shop?!
