Celebrity Christmas decor and how you can add them to your home

Every home’s Christmas decorations are different. They can range from simple ornaments to elaborate designs that include interactive Santa displays. But if you’re one of the very few people who still have barren spaces (in December, of all months), you can grab inspiration from celebrity homes.

In the past, stars have pulled all the stops to bring festivity and uniqueness to their homes. If you’re still looking for much-needed inspiration for your own, we’ve listed down some elements based on these celebrities’ decorations.

Go for one Christmas tree color

Kylie Jenner recruited artistic director Jeff Leatham and his team to design her Christmas tree. She went for an all-gold theme, which is an easy design choice because you don’t have to think of various color combinations. Plus, the tree is a standout right in the middle of Kylie’s house.

Hang eye-catching baubles

Also opting for a one-color tree is Heart Evangelista who debuted her all-white tree a few days ago. Here, the big white baubles stood out the most that she didn’t even need the other elements if ever. This trick will work just as well if you’re going for a multi-colored theme.

Make it kid-friendly

The Vicki Belo and Hayden Kho household has always made it a point to include Scarlet Snow Belo in decorating their home for Christmas. Last year, they had a mermaid-themed tree. For this year, it’s all about unicorns—the tree is decked out with stuffed toys to ornaments shaped like unicorns.

Use fresh flowers

Sarah Lahbati gave a little sneak peek of one of her door decor, which was a simple wreath with flowers and a bow. She also tagged Te Amo Floristeria on the wreath, meaning that it’s a real plant and not just the plastic material-made ones you can buy in the mall. So if you want to change up your decor choices, don’t hesitate to splurge a bit.

Add a personal touch

Buckingham Palace is now decked out with fresh pine trees decorated with crown-shaped baubles. A closer look would show the word “Palace” stitched onto them. While some people use family photos as Christmas tree decor, the Royal Family surely took personalization to a new level.

Place figurines anywhere

Marjorie Barretto and her family threw an intimate Christmas party at their home last November. In the videos that Marjorie posted, you’d see nutcracker figurines placed next to the TV. Small details like these are important, especially if you feel like there’s something missing in certain areas in your home. You can also opt for poinsettias if you’re not a fan of figurines.
