With December kicking in, the weather is becoming more enjoyable. I’ve noticed that it has definitely gotten cooler and windier each day. While I am enjoying that it isn’t so hot anymore, there other things I should be concerned about: my skin. Sure, I’m enjoying the little gusts of wind in my hair but the cold air isn’t doing my skin any favors. Since I’m noticing my skin getting dry, it’s time to take extra precaution. First, let’s start with hand creams.
KORA Organics Rose & Noni Daily Hand Cream
Keep your hands healthy and hydrated with this hand cream. It is enriched with rosehip oil, which helps with sun damage. Aloe vera, on the other hand, will soothe irritated skin. Keep this on your vanity for daily use. Available at Freyja.
The Body Shop Almond Milk & Honey Calming & Protecting Hand Cream
For those with sensitive skin, this hand cream is for you. This is made with organic almond milk, and almond oil and hypoallergenic fragrance. Pop this mini-sized cream in your bag so you never have to worry about having dry hands throughout the day. Available at Glorietta 2.
Burt’s Bees Shea Butter Hand Repair Cream
Shea butter is a natural fat and will leave your skin soft. This also has botanical oil like sesame, macadamia, and sunflower. You can also use this with other Burt’s Bees products, like their cuticle cream. Available at Beauty Bar branches.
VMV Hypoallergenics Illuminants+ Face, Hand & Body Lotion
This body lotion, is also great as a hand cream. It has reparative antioxidants and skin-renewing microdermabrasion. This can help with dark spots as well as it brightens the skin. Use this to help repair damage from the sun and other environmental factors. Available at Estancia Mall.
Mario Badescu Elasto-Seamollient Hand Cream
Because I wash my hands a lot, I want to try out Mario Badescu’s hand cream. To promote natural healing at the cellular level, this has seamollient and vitamin E. Maybe leave this on your office desk so you can quickly moisturize when coming back from the restroom. Available at Rustan’s The Beauty Source.
Philosophy Hands of Hope Sparkling Grapefruit Hand Cream
If you need a fruity pick-me-up in the middle of the day, whip this out. It contains botanical oils that will make sure moisture is locked in for 24 hours. It also has a mix of shea butter, pink grapefruit, blood orange, and freesia. Available on Sephora PH.
Tony Moly I’M Hand Cream
Don’t sleep on Tony Moly’s hand creams because they’re actually really good. Aside from keeping your hands nice and soft, it doesn’t leave a greasy residue. Milk is my favorite scent but this also comes in green tea, berry mix, and avocado. Available at Alabang Town Center.
