Can you feel the Miss Universe 2018 fever yet? We do. Especially now that we know the judges lineup for this year, and it includes two Filipinas: designer Monique Lhuillier and architect Richelle Singson-Michael.
Monique is a renowned bridal designer who’s dressed the biggest stars here and abroad—from Anne Curtis to former First Lady Michelle Obama. According to the Miss Universe site, her designs “capture the essence of sophisticated luxury by provoking femininity, allure and glamour that have made her renowned in the world of design, and as a global lifestyle brand. Monique’s innate sense of style is prevalent throughout her ready-to-wear, accessories, home and bridal collections.”
Meanwhile, Richelle is the Vice-Chairwoman of the LCS Group of Companies and the CEO of Platinum Skies Aviation and FinTech. She was also the Host Committee Chairman of the 65th Miss Universe pageant which was held in the Philippines.
These two ladies will also be joined host Michelle McLean, Airbnb director of national partnerships Janaye Ingram, former beauty queen Iman Oubou, Miss Universe 1988 Bui Simon, and entrepreneur Lili Gil Valletta. This is also the first all-women judges panel for Miss Universe.
We’re interested to see what Monique and Richelle will be bringing to the Miss Universe judging panel. Who’s excited to watch the pageant unfold on Dec. 17?
