Miley Cyrus schools Santa Claus on feminist causes

Miley Cyrus stayed true to her #woke self while serving up some holiday cheer. During her appearance on The Tonight Show, she performed a rendition of the holiday classic “Santa Baby,” but with a feminist twist.

Prior to her performance, the singer and animal rights and gender-equality advocate explained to host Jimmy Fallon that the original lyrics which asks Santa Claus for extravagant presents (including a luxe fur), while hinting the singer would hook up with him, just isn’t her.

So she switched up the lyrics, and instead of jewelry, cash, stocks, and other flashy gifts, she asked for equal pay and a safer work environment: “I’d love to know my ass won’t get grabbed at work by some ignorant jerk.” She also told Santa: “I can buy my own stuff,” and “I don’t need your presents tonight.”
