Lady Gaga’s unique looks are more wearable than you think

One more celebrity is starting her own makeup brand, and it’s Mother Monster herself. Last May, The Blast reported that Lady Gaga secured a trademark for a brand called “Haus Beauty.” It has been a rumor for the longest time, but yesterday, a website went live and you can subscribe to the brand’s newsletter for updates.

So yeah, Gaga’s officially in the beauty biz. Haus Beauty will reportedly release foundations, lipsticks, eyeshadows, eyeliners, and a product called “beauty milks.” There’s still no launch date for the brand and while we wait, how about we look back on Gaga’s iconic makeup looks?

The singer is well-known for her avant-garde style and eclectic personality. She’s a chameleon that’s ever-changing every time she released an album, music video, and did a performance. Check out our list below, complete with products to help you copy them on your own.

“Poker Face”

When “Poker Face” came out, Lady Gaga’s straight blonde hair with a full fringe became a signature for the singer for the whole Fame saga. If you’ve always wanted to style your hair like this, cop a handy hair straightener to keep your fringe intact.

Shop: BabyLiss 3Q Straightener. Available on Beauty MNL.

“Telephone”

I remember everyone losing their sh*t when Lady Gaga collaborated with Beyoncé on this song. Gaga looked like a badass in the music video’s version of a prison, and later as a fugitive. All throughout she had dark-colored lipstick on—ranging from red to copper—that was emphasized with lip liner. For something similar, try a wine-red hue and similar shade for the lip liner, or use something that’s a shade darker.

“Bad Romance”

Out of the several looks that Lady Gaga served in “Bad Romance,” my personal favorite was the final one where she in an all-red outfit. She had a Marilyn Monroe-like hairstyle, a red lip, and a sharp smokey eyeshadow look. The last one you can do any time you want to make a statement.

Shop: BYS Smokey Eyeshadow Palette Tin in Smokey. Available at select Watsons stores.

“Judas”

Speaking of bold eye looks, that tight-lining on Gaga’s eyes in the “Judas” music video gave her that tough gal vibe. If you want to do something similar, first: prepare yourself because using an eyeliner on your upper lid and water line might make you tear up. Next: Find a pencil that goes on smooth and will also last you the whole day.

Shop: Estée Lauder Double Wear Infinite Waterproof Eyeliner. Available at Rustan’s The Beauty Source.

David Bowie tribute

Lady Gaga did a David Bowie tribute at the 2016 Grammy Awards. She paid homage to the icon from the music to her overall look. She was also rocking a sharp contour made with blush. You can do this with a regular powder blush and just go ham with the brush. Or, grab a cream version and blend away.

Shop: Jane Iredale In Touch Cream Blush. Available at Beauty Bar.

A Star Is Born

I just had to put this here because Lady Gaga went makeup-free (or at least she looked like she did) while shooting A Star Is Born. Of course, she wasn’t bare-faced all throughout the film, but she seemed to transform into a different person when she did these scenes.
