This 1-year-old hair model wants people to embrace being different

Haircare brand Pantene may have found the most adorable spokesperson for their newest campaign. Meet Baby Chanco, the one-year-old Instagram star that has thick, poofy hair, and we can’t get over it.

According to Nylon, Pantene Japan considered getting Chanco after People joked that she’d be perfect to star in an ad. Yoshiaki Okura, P&G Japan’s haircare associate brand director, said in a statement that they reached out to her mother because “Chanco’s personality and special character matches our image for women we want to support.”

Now, Chanco is the face of the “#HairWeGo My Hair Moves Me Forward” campaign which celebrates people’s differences. There’s also a doodle-style video that tells Chanco’s hair story from when she was born until now, and how she stands out from other babies.

It’s a cute way to get the message of embracing differences across, don’t you think?

If you want to see more of Baby Chanco and her hair to brighten up your day, you can follow her on Instagram.
