‘Vogue’ talked about Darren Criss’ Francis Libiran ‘barong’

In case you missed it, Darren Criss got married last week and the wedding was beautiful. One important detail to note is what he wore during the reception. Vogue had a feature on the whole event, along with photos. One showed Darren dancing with his mom. The caption read, “Darren honored his Filipino heritage by wearing a traditional barong Tagalog by designer Francis Libiran while dancing with his mother.”

Details about the look? “The custom-designed piece was hand-loomed from pure pineapple fabric, and the intricately embroidered design was inspired by the famous tattoo patterns of the indigenous people of Cebu.”

Francis shared the news on his Instagram account and we are living for it. If you know anyone getting married or attending a wedding, show them these photos. Maybe they’ll consider wearing a barong instead of a suit.
