Add glow to your face wherever you go with these highlighter sticks

Yes, it’s 2019 and we’re still huge fans of highlighters. We’ve talked about layering products, given you a list of liquid options, and even shared some of our favorites. Today, let’s explore another form that has become a quick favorite: highlighter sticks. These are usually very creamy, making them easy to apply and blend. This is also a good option for people like me who sometimes does their makeup at their desk at work or like to touch-up in the middle of the day. You can easily toss one or two of these sticks in your bag and highlight your face and even body whenever you want. If I convinced you to get one, check out these picks.

Benefit Cosmetics Watt’S Up! Cream Highlighter

If you want that shimmery champagne glow, this highlighter will be your new fave. It has a cream to powder finish and a built-in applicator. But, if you’re really in a hurry, just use your fingers to blend seamlessly into your skin. Wear it on its own or over your go-to base make up. Available at Greenbelt 5.

Pat McGrath Skin Fetish Highlighter and Balm Duo

If highlighting your skin isn’t enough, treat it with ingredients that will make it glow too. The balm is formulated with aloe and argan oil that will make skin smooth and soft. Layer the highlighter side on top for intense reflects. Use this on your cheekbones, nose, and either side of your forehead. That’s been my favorite highlighting spot lately. Available on Sephora PH.

Tony Moly Spoiler Strobing Stick

For a highlight that is more natural and not so intense, try out Tony Moly’s strobing sticks. These are infused with jewel powders like amethyst, rubies, and pearls that will give your skin a shiny finish. These are considered multi-use so you can use them for your and even your body. Available at Alabang Town Center.

Australis Strobe Stick

This highlighter stick has a gold tone to it, which will look amazing on all skin tones. It has a creamy finish that you can blend out using the sponge applicator. You can also get the matching contour stick if you’re really in a hurry to get your face ready. Available at Rustan’s The Beauty Source.

Nyx Bright Idea Illuminating Stick

What’s interesting about these illuminating sticks is that they come in a variety of colors ranging from bronze to orange and pink. So, these will add both shine and color to your face. You can even use them as a quick all over eyeshadow for those last minute events. Available on Calyxta.

Mark. By Avon Hi Light Strobing Duo

This stick also has two products in one. Here, you get a highlighter and a contour shade. Because of the formula, this is best used on dry skin. Raise your hand if you have dry skin too. Available on Beauty MNL.

L’Oréal Longwear Highlighter

This highlighter is formulated with SPF so the places on your face you apply this on will for sure be protected from the sun at some level. Jokes aside, this comes in a pale pink and gold shade that will give you a natural glow. Available at Watsons branches.

Sunnies Face Glowboss

Glowboss has been in my rotation for a few months now. I would say that it is easy to apply and blend into the skin. If you want something natural, go for Femme. If glittery and shimmery is more your thing, go test out Hey Girl. Available at Glorietta 2.
