Unique Salonga, Filipino musician and the former vocalist of IV of Spades, is now collaborating with Gucci. A Facebook post by Telay Robles featured Unique wearing a Gucci ensemble, in which Telay announces “global brand Gucci has agreed to support Unique Salonga.” Unique is the first Filipino musician to work with them.
Local artists Zen Flores and Telay Robles were also part of the Gucci project. Zen was the photographer for the shoot; he is also a cinematographer. Telay Robles, known for her work on Hay, Bahay!, was the stylist. Telay showed outtakes of their shoot in her post.
Telay also hinted that there are more Gucci shoots coming up. “Looking forward to more shoots with Gucci,” she wrote.
During this year’s Myx Music Awards, Unique also wore Gucci from head to toe. And now, his craft and talent have been recognized by the global brand.
